It is very near the train station and taxi parking but it is inside the old town of Stockholm. Hotel stuff were very kind and helpful especially at breakfast!!

The hotel was beyond delightful. The rooms were so charming, with lovely sitting areas and such commodious and comfortable beds. The staff were helpful and welcoming, and the breakfast was completely amazing. There were so many delicious options, and everything was prepared fresh each day by the attentive and enthusiastic chefs. The location was absolutely perfect, so close to public transportation, but in a quiet, beautiful "old town" area that was also walkable to many of the sites we wanted to see.

First visit at this Scandic, but am a reagular guest at Scandic. The hotel is located in Gamla Stan that is beautiful but the level of the hotel was a big dissapointment. The breakfast was clearly under the normal Scandic level , poor presented, low quality from the staff. Eggs either almost raw or boiled for 15 min. Scrambled Eggs is an omelette and cheep quality juice served. The persons working here can not be educated. Choose another hotel

Our standard room was on the small size, lacking tea making facilities etc.. However, the room was very clean, the bed comfortable and the shower was nourished by plenty of hot water. Breakfast was excellent in terms of choice. The background 1940s music, though, was a touch irritating if we were to split hairs! Very conveniently located in the Old Town, with metro station and several restaurants nearby. Only one hop away from central station and the rapid train link to the airport. Being in Gamla Stan, this is an older property with some quaint features. Reception and breakfast staff were very pleasant and welcoming.

Our room was very small and outdated. However we give this review on the friendliness, cleanliness and breakfast at this hotel. Our reception lady was so welcoming and chased up our room fast as we had a long flight. Oscar/chef was amazing and we loved seeing his friendly face every morning, He couldn't do enough. We had a fridge in our room but no drinks facilties. We struggled with luggage as only space was round the bed. The cupboard/bathroom door/room door all kept banging into eachother - Room 311. Otherwise great location, quaint hotel, lovely and exceptional staff. A personal touch!
